Opera Central

Directions

Opera Central (2145 First Avenue South) is conveniently located half a mile from I-275 at the eastern end of the Grand Central District. From the north and Tampa, take the 5th Avenue North exit off of I-275. From the south, take the 31st Street South exit and proceed north on 31st Street and turn right onto First Avenue South. Our building entrance is also just yards away from a Sun Runner stop at the corner of 22nd Street South and 1st Avenue South.

Accessibilty

Opera Central is ADA compliant featuring a wheelchair ramp at the building entrance.  The facility is one level, and handicap rails exist in the bathrooms.

Parking

For our current season of performances at Opera Central, complimentary Valet Parking is available.  These performances include our Broadway Cabaret (March 2, 2024), Opera Scenes (February 8 & 10, 2024), Mornings with the Maestro (March 1 & May 31) and Donor Quarterlies (December 13, March 27, and June 19).   There is also much street parking available on 1st Avenue South, Central Avenue, 21st Street and 22nd Street.  Some of this parking has time limits so please observe the signs.
